Thanks so much for checking out our 'interactivity D' on Keller's Personalized System of Instruction (PSI).
Which elements of PSI have you seen implemented in online courses? Which elements of PSI (if any) might you implement in a regular classroom setting?

Elements of PSI that I have seen implemented in this online course are:
Written materials - our weekly readings Learning Objectives - the objectives of each unit were clearly outlined each week. We were also provided with discussion questions each week. Content Units - the theories were introduced in their own unit Self-Paced Instruction - the course delivered on-line allowed us to work through each unit at our own pace and participate in the online discussions when we could. There were deadlines to meet each week but when we completed the course material during that week was up to us.
Thanks, Brenda

Excellent Brenda! Thanks for checking out our posting on PSI. Your observations are right on the mark.
I hadn't thought of our discussion questions as being analogous to Keller's unit study questions, but they truly are. They give us direction on which points in the readings are most important and they help encourage higher-order thinking.
